The Chain Smokers Mountain Bike Team was established in 1997 to provide area cyclists with a club focused on mountain biking. The Chain Smokers have a broad range of members, from serious racers to first time recreational racers. We are unified by the common desire to promote the sport of mountain biking while having a good time.

We have a wide range of riders who participate in regional and national events including the Wisconsin Off-Road Series, NORBA Nationals, the 24 Hours of 9 Mile, and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Mountain Bike Festival. Our club also holds a weekly time trial series at Blackhawk Ski Area in Madison, Wisconsin.

Our Mission:

Chain Smokers Mountain Bike Team’s mission is to promote participation in the sport of mountain biking by attracting a sustainable membership that possesses diverse talents such as riding, racing, spectating, and developing trails. Through this community of like-minded individuals Chain Smokers will provide a social environment for members to exchange ideas, support each other and promote the sport.
